Saher is a Trainee Solicitor at Lee & Thompson and assists across a broad range of matters spanning the creative industries. Having completed our Vacation Scheme, she joined Lee & Thompson in 2023 as a paralegal in our Film & TV department prior to becoming a trainee in 2025. She has assisted financiers and producers on production related matters, worked on disputes and clearance work and corporate transactions. She has worked on more than 10 productions that have premiered at major international film festivals. Giving her a practical appreciation of the pressures around financing, delivery and distribution timelines.
Before training, Saher combined legal study with roles in London and Nairobi, including at Open-Ended Design, an organisation that brings together those working at the intersection of design, technology and social impact. Saher gained paralegal experience in both London and Nairobi in Corporate, Commercial, IP, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Litigation departments.
Saher completed her Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) at University of Kent and her LPC at the University of Law. She then completed a Master of Laws in Technology, Media and Telecommunications Law.
Outside practice, Saher serves as a Director of The Mohamed Amin Foundation in Nairobi, working to preserve a historic media archive to support African students, journalists and filmmakers.
