Mental Health & Wellbeing
Our senior leaders and managers are trained in inclusive leadership practices that encourage regular dialogue with colleagues and create an environment of support and belonging. Managers are encouraged to look for signs of stress in themselves and their teams and to actively take measures to prevent burnout.
Our active inclusion and belonging network run a series of workshops and social events throughout the year that aim to educate and raise awareness on issues that are important to our people and impact on their sense of wellbeing and belonging at work. We also run events to provide opportunities for social connection, from guided walks to craft workshops and charity fundraising social events.
Alongside our inclusive approach, we have qualified Mental Health First Aiders, and an Employee Assistance Programme that provides 24-hour support to employees and their immediate family members on a range of issues wellbeing beyond physical health, including life event support, work life and emotional health.
