Andy Moseby

Partner, Head of Corporate, Head of Digital & Tech

A senior corporate lawyer, Andy specialises in advising technology, AI and digital media companies on their domestic and cross-border M&A strategies. He also works with both capital providers in respect to their investment portfolios and with entrepreneurial companies on all stages of the funding cycle (including Series A capital and beyond, development funding and exits).

Andy helps founders, scale-ups and established businesses raise finance and works with investors, from High-Net-Worth individuals to VCs and PE funds, guiding their capital deployment. In addition, Andy assists clients on general corporate matters including shareholders’ arrangements, constitutional documents and Companies Act compliance.

Andy has deep experience acting for tech clients having spent 25 years in tech-focussed law firms, notably Kemp Little. Andy was part of the equity partnership team which engineered the sale of the firm to Deloitte Legal in a landmark transaction in 2021. That experience has given Andy first-hand experience of selling a business as well as rare insight into how legal, strategy and integration intersect. At Deloitte Legal, Andy was responsible for the development of its end-to-end M&A service, providing clients with a fully integrated transaction solution, from target identification, through deal execution, to post-merger integration.

Andy combines real technical legal knowledge with a mindset turned to innovation. He established Lee & Thompson’s Catalyst service, providing free and fixed-price legal solutions to entrepreneurs and rapid-growth businesses.

Andy holds an IBM professional certificate in Applied AI, is a member of the Governance Council of the British Interactive Media Association and is a registered Mental Health First Aider.

“Andy and the Lee & Thompson team were the perfect partner throughout the process, from exceptional and timely advice through to flawless guidance and execution.” – Lance Younger, CEO of ProcureTech, now named as ORO’s new Executive Vice President, EMEA and Global Alliances.
